The ancient Market Town of Ringwood with its weekly Wednesday market, historic buildings and many excellent restaurants and pubs is just 5 minutes walk away.

We are on the edge of the beautiful New Forest National Park with its many walks, woods and glades.

Sporting facilities nearby include horse-riding, swimming, fishing, cycling, waterskiing, sailing and golf. There are many sight-seeing features in the area including the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Salisbury Cathedral, Hurst Castle, Exbury Gardens, the Liberty's Raptor & Reptile Centre and Moors Valley Country Park — the latter two are on our doorstep.

Ringwood is situated in the Avon Valley and is renowned for its excellent River Avon fishing and surrounding lakes.

The sandy beaches of Bournemouth are 15 minutes drive away. And Southampton, Salisbury, Stonehenge and Winchester are all within easy driving distance.

The closest train station is Bournemouth with regular bus services to and from Ringwood. (Pick ups from the bus station in Ringwood can be arranged).

There is also an excellent bus link by National Express from London Heathrow airport to Ringwood.

The Isle of Wight Ferry runs from Lymington to Yarmouth.

There are opportunities for sailing, water-skiing, windsurfing and fishing on the River Avon & many lakes around Ringwood. The river is also a haven for wildlife.
